The Burroughs Plymouth Michigan plant, built in 1938, shown below, was sold to the Burroughs Company from the Unisys Corporation. It is still in use today. The landmark "Burroughs" Smoke Stack on the right of the picture was ordered demolished after the company's merger with Sperry, because it had Burroughs written on it. A sad loss for many, but bricks from the smoke stack were saved by many to help ease the loss.
